After the 2008 crash, one very observant hedge fund executive went to Washington DC to work for the Securities Exchange Commission, to see for himself what had gone wrong—and see if he could make a difference. BFM worked with Norm Champ and his agent to develop a book proposal for Going Public. After he got a book deal, we provided editorial services to help him successfully submit his manuscript. Forthcoming from McGraw-Hill, January 2017.
In this deeply personal and important book, Marjorie Baldwin interweaves a memoir of her journey as a mother whose son was diagnosed with schizophrenia, and her perspective as a top labor economist who presents new research on the workplaces challenges and opportunities for people who have serious mental illnesses. We helped Dr. Baldwin get a book deal with a publisher. We also arranged radio coverage and helped her develop key relationships and audiences for her work at the nation’s leading mental health advocacy group. Published by Rowman Littlefield, 2016.
